As the body of Christ, our purpose as His church is to perpetuate the culture of Christ (His way, truth and life) in own lives, in our homes, schools, workplaces, communities, cities, nations and even unto the ends of the earth. Christ’s words to the disciples are our instructions, even for today:
(Matthew 28:18-20 ESV) And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
The ministries that flow out of our local church are prayerfully planned and led to see believers strengthened and equipped, the hurting comforted and healed, the broken restored, the captive free and the lost found.
Our method of discipling is to live prayerfully in community and on mission. As we pray to our heavenly Father, through the work of the Holy Spirit and according to the Word of God(The Bible), we are transformed(made new) into the likeness of Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:18). Simply put, we draw near to God and the closer we come the more our hearts and minds become like His. As a result, we care for the things that He cares about and live lives that are pleasing to Him. All of this is done by His grace through faith. We can’t do it on our own and by ourselves. It’s through His power and in the community of His body.
Our active ministries vary from season to season, as leaders and teams are available. Our goal is to provide ministry for all age groups. We’re always in need of volunteers willing to serve or lead in our areas of ministry.
